POLICY / LAST UPDATED 26 JANUARY 2026

Privacy in plain language.

simly is a static independent information site. It does not offer accounts, hold a contact-form database or set first-party tracking cookies.

This policy explains how information is handled when a person visits simly.digital. simly is an independent editorial resource about mobile connectivity. It is not a provider of mobile services, and it does not create user accounts, process purchases or maintain a dashboard of personal information.

Information collected by the site

The site does not ask visitors to register, log in, make a payment, create an account or submit a profile. It has no first-party database for visitor records. simly does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, device identifiers or travel plans through its web pages.

Like any website delivery, the infrastructure serving a page may process routine technical information needed to respond to a request, such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, time of request and similar network log data. That processing is performed at the level of the hosting or network service used to deliver the page, not through a simly visitor account. This policy does not claim that an internet request can occur without technical transmission.

Cookies and local storage

simly sets no first-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics cookies. The site does not use a cookie banner because it does not deliberately set those categories of first-party cookies.

The dark or light theme control stores a small preference named simly-theme in the browser’s local storage after the button is used. This preference exists only to remember the selected display mode on that browser. It is not used to identify a person, track browsing between sites or build a profile. A visitor can remove it through browser storage controls at any time.

Third-party services described below may have their own technical behaviour, including cookies or logs, under their own policies. simly does not control those services. Browser privacy settings, content blockers and network policies can affect whether they load.

Analytics

simly does not currently run first-party analytics, audience measurement tags, advertising pixels, retargeting tools or social-media tracking scripts. No visitor-level analytics profile is created by the site. If this changes, the policy will be updated before or alongside the change, including a clear description of the service and its data handling.

Contact form and email

The contact page includes a form that uses JavaScript in the visitor’s browser to compose a mailto: message addressed to [email protected]. When the button is pressed, the form contents are placed in the email application selected or configured by the visitor. The site does not submit those fields to a simly server, store them in a database or transmit them through a simly form-processing service.

Once a visitor chooses to send an email, the visitor’s email provider and the recipient mail system will handle that message under their own terms and applicable law. The content of a voluntarily sent email may contain personal data. Do not send passwords, payment information, activation codes, account credentials or other sensitive information. Editorial email is intended for corrections, broken links and clarification suggestions, as described on the about page.

Third-party services and requests

To display this static website, browsers may request resources from third parties. These requests can disclose routine technical information to the relevant provider, such as IP address, browser details, the referring page and the requested resource. The services used on this site are:

  • Tailwind CDN, which supplies the site’s CSS framework script.
  • Google Fonts, which supplies the Archivo, Inter and Roboto Mono typefaces.
  • Unsplash image CDN, which supplies the photographic images embedded in editorial pages.

These third parties operate independently. Their privacy notices and service conditions govern their own processing. The site uses external photography only as specified in its editorial design; it does not send form entries or account data to those image services. Readers who prefer not to make third-party requests can use browser tools, content blockers or a network policy, although that can change the page’s appearance.

Legal bases and European-style rights

For limited technical processing necessary to make the site available, an appropriate basis may be legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional informational page. For a voluntary email message, processing is based on the sender’s choice to communicate and the legitimate interest in reading and responding to editorial correspondence where appropriate. This description is general information and not legal advice.

Where applicable data-protection law grants rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, a person may contact [email protected] to raise a request relating to an email they have sent to simly. A person may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in their usual place of residence, work or the place of an alleged infringement. Because simly does not keep user accounts or form submissions, the scope of records held by the site itself is limited.

Retention and security

simly does not retain contact-form data because the form does not submit data to the site. Voluntary editorial email may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to read, respond to or maintain a record of a correction, subject to applicable obligations. Reasonable operational measures are used for the website, but no internet transmission or email system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Email is not the right channel for sensitive details.

Links, changes and contact

Reference pages link to other simly pages and may refer readers to external documentation. This policy applies to simly.digital, not to external websites. Review the privacy information of any third-party site before sharing personal information there.

This policy may change if the site’s functions or third-party services change. The last-updated date at the top of this page will change with a material revision. For editorial context, read the mobile connectivity guide and the FAQ; for privacy questions about this site, email [email protected].
